Subject: Opening / Operation of Regular Income Certificate A/C

Dear Sir,

The Executive Committee of Friends of Literacy and Mass Education (FLAME) has

decided to invest the endowment fund amounting to Rs. 6,100,000 (Rupees six million

only) in the Regular Income Certificate of National Savings Scheme.

This is to further advise that FLAME is a Tax Exempted NGO as per FBR Letter

attached. You are therefore requested not to deduct withholding tax and pay us the total

profit on the regular income certificates. As per the prescribed rates.

This Account will be operated jointly by Ambassador ® Mansoor Alam, Chairman and

Mr. Syed Abu Khalid, Member, Executive Committee (Finance & Administration). Mr.

Abdul Ghani, Finance Manager will also be a signatory who will sign the documents in

case of unavailability of any of the two signatories, mentioned above. Specimen

signatures of all the three signatories are appended below.
