338th Pilot Test

1 Mission Intention

This Mission is the Test every Pilot of the 338th has to Pass to become Pilot Status. You
have to show your Falcon 4 skills in a normal Mission. But donŠt worry this Test is not a
difficult one. We only want to ensure that you all have the same standards when entering
Pilot Status. With Pilot Status you will be allowed into the Squadron Flights. Also the
Pilot Training is much better then Recruit Training.

2 Situation

2.1 Own Forces

The mission will be executed by 2 F-16AM of the RNoAF:

Deep Strike Cowboy1 2 F-16AM
• 2 x IRIS-T
• 2x AIM-120C
• 2 x Mk-84 LDGB
• 1 x 300gal Tank
• TASK: Destroy Nuclear Plant at target site
AWACS support is available

2.2 Opposing Forces

The enemy has a few older air-defence systems and older fighters in service.

3 Execution

You will follow the Briefing of your Instructor. Set up your DTC appropriate. Then in
the Pit you will switch to tower freq and perform a formation Takeoff. Navigate towards
your Target. Also fly formation with your Instructor. After Steerpoint 2 engage the
Mig-19. Use both AMRAAM and the IRIS-T. At Steerpoint 5 destroy the reactor with
CCRP and then the cooling towers with CCIP. fly towards steerpoint 6 and evade the
sa-2. then fly towards steerpoint 7. Go to angels 1 (1000 feet) and evade the sa-13. Then
land at your homebase.
