    By Elton Camp Big Don got drunk and went plumb wild He climbed high up a pole like a bad child It was dangerous, but he didnt know why He was unaware it carried the electric supply The policeman said, Hey, Don, I am your friend. For your own safety, it is vital for you to descend. It didnt do any good. Don was so highly intoxicated That the officers fair warning he rudely berated Hey, cop, Im not doing a single thing wrong And I intend to stay up here all night long. Darkness fell with Don still on his lofty perch He grew sleepy and fell on a wire with a lurch There was a loud zap and a big flash of light As poor Don instantly disappeared from sight It caused a blackout in the entire neighborhood And it cured Dons problem drinking for good
