The main message of the poem Por la Educacion Recibe Lustre la Patria, is that education plays a vital role in the progress and welfare of a nation.

he write it?
The inspiration of his novel, My First Inspiration was his mother, Doa Teodora Realondo. He wrote the poem to give his appreciation to his mother on her birthday.

It was said that he wrote this poem when he was eight years old. This was a poem written in Tagalog, which was the first poem to show how nationalistic and deliberate Rizal is. It was written due to the fact that he noticed Filipinos

at that time were so heads down on Spaniards that they dare not speak the language Filipino. It was written to endeavour his friends to show how beautiful our Tagalog Language is. And he is also ascertained that when one speaks his language, he is liberated enough to strive for liberty.
