My dear friend of more than 20 years, ANNE JONES passed earlier this month after a valiant ght against pancreatic cancer. Back in the late 80s we met at Times Square Church, and the Lord ultimately led us both to NYCR. She served with the ministry for nearly 20 years. About 2 years ago she found out she had cancer but went on undeterred working, taking chemotherapy. She stayed healthy, taking public transportation to the Center daily nearly right to the end. She was honored at our recent banquet for her loving, dedicated service. She will be greatly missed by all of us. Thank you Anne.

20 years in the danger zone!

Our family has lived and worked in the danger zone of Elizabeth, Harlem, The Bronx, brooklyn and more for over 20 years. But a pastor friend of mine once said, Just because you can SEE the danger doesnt mean its more dangerous. The reality is, the BEST place to be is right where God wants you to be,.. sometimes that place includes some danger.
