RE: NEW PATENT APPLICATIONS IN BARBADOS

Pease find below the information and documentation required for filing a Patent Application
in Barbados, as requested:

Drawings of the invention

Description of the invention
Claims
Abstract (technical information relating to the invention)
Title of said invention
Name and Address of the applicant
Statement of Ownership (this applies if the applicant is not the inventor(s))
Priority of earlier applications if applicable

If the question of priority is applicable you must furnish us with the international application
number, the international filing date, the priority application number, the priority date and
the priority country. Also, if the application being filed in Barbados is part of a division of
some other application this must be stated.

When you have advised us of the information we will be able to prepare a Power of Attorney
and forward it to you for your applicant's signature. We cannot fax the Power of Attorney as
the Registrar will not accept a signed facsimile copy. It must be the original Power of
Attorney. We will therefore send the Power of Attorney to you by post. The Power of
Attorney must be notarised.

The duration of a Patent is 20 years.
