Is it a Sonnet? what is a Poem?

I see it like this: a bar code, a thumbprint

of beauty, algebraic, something fun.
It is a thing that’s nothing and something
at once, a butterfly wing and a joke.
Ha ha ha LOL. A poem confined
is not a poem. Release him or her. Yoke,
I dedicate a rhyme to you aspires
being human, worthy, equal, and proud.
As we are approaching the volta, let’s
get this straight. A sonnet’s not very good
at being complacent, unrequited,
or silent! Traditions not easily
voided are made Less, theoretically.
