Believe it or not, the school
year is coming to an end.
Starting this MondayApril
25th , our class will be
participating in the ABC
countdown. Each school day
will have a different activity
depending on the letter of
the day. Your child may
need to bring certain things
on various days, and we will
be taking field trips for
other days. Please follow
the calendar sent home on
Friday to help know what
day is coming up. This is
very exciting for the
students, and really keeps
them motivated during the
last month of school. Please
feel free to join us for any of
the activities. I hope your
child enjoys his/her last
days in first grade

We will be learning about the
solar system and the suns effect
on our planet. *Please read with your child every
night. Doing so gives them a head
start at learning to read.
Spelling *Silent Auction Basket*
day The PTO annual spaghetti dinner and silent
say auction will be held on Friday, May 6th. Our
sail
class will be putting together a basket for the
silent auction. We have selected a beach theme
pail for the basket and are in need of donations.
pay Anything concerning the beach such as,
play sunscreen, towels, toys, etc. will make our
basket a hit. Please send in all donations by
right Friday, April 29th. If there is a parent that would
high like to put our basket together I would greatly
learn appreciate the help. Thank you so much for
your support, and to those that have already
join donated!
