Infor plans for expansion, to hire 400 software developers By SiliconIndia Wednesday, 16 March 2011, 19:25 Hrs Bangalore: 4 global provider of business application software, Infor announced its plans to expand the engineering organization and the company plans to hire about 400 software developers for it. Infor's Senior Vice President, Global Product Development, Some Somasundaram said the company plans to divert all its existing and newly hired engineers to the process of building great applications. “We will ship significantly more nev features and new releases this year than ever before, This investment in core research and develapment is a milestone in Infor's commitment ta innovation," he said. “Strong revenue performance and improved operational efficiency has increased the company's operating raargins and generated cash flow beyond the targets for the quarter,” said Stephan Scholl, Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations. "The improved margins, slong with further immprovernents in operating efficiencies, will fund the additional investment in product development," he added.
