OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT
1- To get an insight of the procedure followed by the corporate sectors in preparing budget.
2- To know how the top management is able to assure proper control over the expenditures by effectively
utilizing the available resources.
3- To know the steps taken by the top management to control the deviations arising between the actual result
and the budgeted result.
4- To know how financial planning is carried out Ril (Hazira manufacturing division).
OUTCOMES OF PROJECT
1- It helped me to gain practical knowledge used in preparation of budget.

3- Helped me to understand how to prepare budget for different plants.
4- The study helped me to understand the nature of variance analysis (the difference arising between
