"Felt terrific about the win. Very excited. Excited for Nonito.
It's like it all culminated together, all the years of hard work
the came together. You couldn't have a more explosive,
perfect, perfect performance. It was absolutely perfect,"

"I think their relationship was stressed, and there was a lot of stress on Nonito, by his father who
wanted him at home, with him every minute.

"He wanted to control every aspect of his life, everything from his, you know, who he dated, who he
saw, what he ate, what he did every day, his boxing, his living, you know?

"Everything about him, every aspect of his life, his father wanted to control, and I think that it was
just too stressful for him as he became a man, and as he got older," saad ng manager.

FORGOTTEN ADVANCES.

Saad ni Cameron, "At first, he's gonna pay his father 10 percent, which is $25,000. He wanted 12
percent, Nonito agreed to that, to paying $30,000. After they settled on the 12 percent, his father was
still not happy, but he settled and said he would do it."

"Then he asked Nonito to pay for his monthly salary, as if he was working back at home. And he also
wanted paid his expenses out here for an apartment, and for a car, rental car, food... You know, he
wanted all of that, on top of that.

"So, Nonito said, he just couldn't do it. He can pay him his 12 percent, pay him $30,000, which he
did, but he [Donaire Sr.] wanted advances.

"And he asked for $7,500 advance immediately, which Nonito did, then he asked for another $2,500,
which Nonito did."

"He had forgotten that he had taken $10,000 in advances, and that's where the argument came in....
conveniently or inconveniently, however, he had forgotten that he had already taken $10,000," sabi ni
Cameron.
