Appendix for Exchange Procedure of SNB60KB

1) Remove all parts from original cover.

2) Special additional parts of new brake.

3) The assembling sequence of the Ring and Shims. ( 0.8 – 0.3x7 – 0.1x3 – 0.8 )

4) Pre assembling of the Ring and Shims.

5) Cut the old brake wire.

6) Remove the old Inner Driver.

7) The view of original shaft that all old brakes removed.

8) Make a couple of M6-tap to original shaft end.

9) Heat up new Inner Driver to expand the hole.

10) The view of assembling with new Inner Driver and Extension Shaft End.

11) Install new brake. (Pay attention the positioning of screw holes.)

12) Check initial Gap.

13) Adjust the gap properly.

14) Pre assembling of Ring part to both Disk and Inner Driver.

15) Pre assembling of Springs.

16) Check gaps on both sides with actual braking test.

17) Adjustment of manual release lever. ( 15mm : from Arm to Surface of Brake. )

18) Adjust the manual release lever position with bolts and nuts.

19) Adjust the position of the limit switch with thickness gauge. ( 1.3mm for the Limit.)

20) Apply the LOCKTIGHT glue to all screws.

21) Tape up the manual release lever to adjust the diameter.

22) Reassemble the manual release system with rubber cap.

23) Attach new thickness gauge to new cover.

New Thickness Gauge


Initial gap pass 0.6mm
Initial gap stop 0.8mm
Limit gap 1.3mm

24) Attach new stickers and finish.
