AFFIDAVIT OF JIMMY FLETCHER 1. My name is Jimmy Fletcher, and I am a Correctional Sergeant at the Monroe Correctional Complex. I am competent to testify before a court of law and I have personal knowledge of the matters contained herein. 2. have worked the Department of Corrections for 10 % years. I have been a Sergeant for 5 % years. I was Jayme Biendl’s Shift Sergeant from 2006-2007. Tam currently a Relief Sergeant. I typically worked as a Sergeant on Jayme Biendl’s shift approximately once a week since 2007. 3. In the summer of 2010, from June until August 1, I was off work on a worker’s compensation injury. Within a month or so after my return to work, I worked as the Shift Sergeant for Jayme Biendl’s shift and therefore was her immediately supervisor. Jayme Biendl came into the Shift Office where | was working and put a Work Order on my desk. ‘The Work Order requested additional cameras in the Chapel. 4, That same night, I reviewed the Work Order and placed my signature on it. J then placed it in Captain Hardina’s box, which was located behind the Shift Lieutenant’s desk. Again, this was sometime in either August or September of 2010. 5. Under normal procedure, I would not be informed about whether the Work Order was ultimately approved or not, and I did not hear anything more about this Work Order after I put itin Captain Hardina’s box.
