1. Don’t Be a Showoff

• Ask a friend whether or not people would actually care about
what you are writing.
2. Don’t Use Poor Grammar of Spelling
• Write words out
entirely and don’t
shorten them.
• Don’t use confusing
abbreviations.
3. Don’t Get Too Personal
• Talk about
professional,
appropriate things only.
• Don’t talk about your personal likes and dislikes.
