persons. The list includes academics at leading universities, parliamentary
candidates, government advisors, civil society leaders, artists, individuals from
media, professionals, etc. Interview questions will be tailored in order to identify
key steps of each interviewee's career path that could inspire younger generation.

Multimedia material preparation: The interview outcomes will be publicised

through a printed publication (5000 copies), a short video, and by updating the
LCSS website with project specific content. The printed publication will be of A4
size, and around 70 pages. Each interviewee profile will be printed on one page
and the opposite page for each profile will contain a full size professional
photograph of the interviewee with specific composition. Professional video
recording will also take place during the interviews.

Meetings: Four informal meetings with breakfast (at weekends) will also take
place to maximise the interaction of the target group with the role models who
participated in this project and also the networking of students. Three-four
speakers will be present at each meeting and each speaker will be asked to give a
short presentation. The length of Q&A sessions is intended to be long enough to
allow deeper discussions.

Locations to conduct the activities: Any administrative work for the project will
be carried out from Project Manager's own premises. Planned interviews will take
place at either each interviewee's own work environment or at a mutually agreed
external location. The venues for the informal meetings with breakfast will be hired
from universities, local authorities, or other community organizations depending
on the relevance of discussion topics and profile of the speakers.

project. Furthermore, at LCSS, we have nineteen volunteers participating at our
regular brainstorming sessions. The list includes three post-PhD level researchers,
four PhD students, and twelve Master's level students of Turkish background. The
idea for this project emerged during one of those sessions at which we discussed
the outcomes of our previous projects and literature search as well as personal
experiences throughout our educational lives and those of our friends and peers.
We have further discussed the project with other community organisations
(including the Wisdom School, Axis Educational Trust, and Professional's Network)
and received encouraging feedback on the content and timeliness of this project as
well as their confirmation for support should this application be successful.

How our project will meet the need: Our project aims increased confidence
of the TS community by emphasizing on the fact that youngsters can take up
leading positions within academia, government, and civil societies provided that
they pursue higher level education and integrate better within the system. The
booklet that will be published and distributed across London regions with large TS
population, GCSE and A level institutions, universities, public libraries, key
community establishments and local governments, is aimed to have a visually
attractive and highly inspirational content. Also, we believe that the project will
increase the awareness of the problem in general, and particularly for those
selected 'role models' participated in the project that will trigger further initiatives on
solving the problem.
