The Eye Test Game
This eye matching game will be enjoyed by young children.
There are 36 pairs of eyes and the basic idea is to match each eye
to its partner. Each eye has a number and the notes include a list of
the numbered pairs indicating which are boys’ eyes and which are
girls’ eyes. There are also some interesting facts about eyes.

Preparation. Cut out the eyes from the three cards using the
squares as a guide

For a group activity, spread the eyes face up on a table and the
players have to match up as many pairs as they can in a given
amount of time. When the eyes have been paired, the players try to
identify which are boys and which are girls.

Or, spread about 12 pairs of eyes face down on the table and
players take turns at picking up pairs of eyes to see if they match.
The winner is the player with the most matches.

For an active team game, the eyes could be placed around the
house and each team searches for pairs of matching eyes.

Finish off by getting the players to draw each other’s eyes. Have
some illustrated children’s books ready to see how different artists
draw eyes.
