Survey Report of the data analysis

We have completed our survey through questionnaire.

We took a sample population of 100 people in which 63% are male and 37% are

female. We have four age groups Below 20 are 8%, 20-25 years are 45%, 25-50

are 27% and 20% are above 50.

1) We concluded that Males mostly prefer price and Females mostly prefer

quality.

2) The convenience of place doesn’t generally matters to young people vice

versa of old ones

According to the education level the more educated people mostly prefer quality

and price

In our survey we have 42% Low income 42% Middle income and 16% high

income people The people with high income level are not concerned with price

the want Quality and mostly buy from super stores and people with medium

income level are concerned about price that means they are price conscious and

want to get socks at a convenient place. The low income people just want socks

at low price

The price aspect is that the high income people mostly buy socks at high price

70-80 Rs or Above 80. Some of the middle income people are also buying socks
at high price but the middle level mostly buy socks in the price range of 60-70.

The low income level buys socks below 50 or 60-70 mostly.

16% of our customers are just want socks. 32% prefer best socks that means the

need price and quality both at the same time.14% prefer price and are not

concerned with the quality 38% need quality.

So we concluded that we need to improve our quality at best price

24% of our sample people buy from retail shops near them and 41% buy from

Super stores and 35% buy from garment shops which are mostly females.

So according to the result we will emphasize on Super stores and Garment

shops.

The convenience of place doesn’t matters to the people willing to buy socks.

So as told earlier we will select outlets which are more profitable.
