MARKET INSIGHTS: On Friday Nov 26, 2010,The local equity markets remained

(LIC) and LIC Housing Finance to companies involved in the scam was limited to around
VALUE TRADED (Rs Crs) Chg Rs 388 crore only. Clarification from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) that there were
no margin defaults, also boosted investor confidence later in the day. Meanwhile, the
BSE 6495 15.43% intraday recovery led by banking, software and technology counters remained short
NSE 22744 -8.08% lived and the markets once again resumed their southward journey before closing hours
F&O Total 139649 -44.58% tracking sharp cuts on the European bourses.
The BSE's 30-share sensitive index -- Sensex -- failed to hold on to the crucial level
NET INFLOWS (Rs Crs) Chg of 19,200 while the NSE's 50-share broadly followed index -- Nifty -- managed to
shut shop a tad above the psychological 5,750-mark. At one point, they were trading
FIIs 629 -152% below 19,000 (Sensex) and 5,700 (Nifty) levels. All the sectoral indices of the BSE
DIIs 959 384% finished lower today. Realty counter, which was down by more than ten percent in
morning trades as marketmen rushed for profit booking in anything related to real

around four and a half percent. Consumer durables, metal and power stocks were

the other major losers in trade. Selective buying remained evident in software and

World Indices Chg Company (HCC) lost 18.99% and Punjab National Bank (PNB) shed 2.81%. From
frontliners, TCS, Cipla and SBI topped the gainers list.

European markets were also trading in the red on Friday. France's CAC 40 plunged

1.47%, Germany's DAX declined 1.01%, and Britain's FTSE 100 shed 1.15%. On the
FTSE 100 5669 -0.53% flip side, Straits Times was up by 0.14 points to 3,159.37. Shanghai Composite
declined 26.56 points or 0.92% to 2,871.70, Hang Seng shed 177.43 points or 0.77% to
Commodity Chg 22,877.25, Jakarta Composite dropped 59.51 points or 1.61% to 3,642.50, KLSE
Crude Oil (US$/bl) 85.8 0.01% Composite slipped 4.44 points or 0.30% to 1,492.05, Nikkei 225 dipped 40.20 points
or 0.40% to 10,039.56, Seoul Composite decreased 25.88 points or 1.34% to 1,901.80
Gold (US$/oz) 1362.4 -0.76%
and Taiwan Weighted was down by 37.84 points or 0.45% to 8,312.15.

MARKET VIEW: The Indian equity markets were trapped in domestic jitters when all the Asian markets performed mixed. The domestic
markets still not seem to have recovered from the storm of fake housing finance scam, though the start of the markets was good tracking the
overnight surge in the US markets and the good going of the Asian peers but it lost its way in last. Technically traders sentiments seems to be
little bit in passive mood as domestic indices failed to show any momentum from last 15 days.. Any negative out come will further spoils the
current scenario though 5660-5630 should be very crucial to watch . Any drift below this level could open the flood gates and we might see
5500-5530 in a short span of time where possibility of consolidation shouldn't be rule out. On the flip side any break out above 6060-6070 with
decisive volumes may shift the current paradigm towards bulls and we might see short term rallies near to 6295. HAPPY TRADING....
