Using Voice Thread to create a digital story

Create an account and register.

You should sign up for an educator account which allows you to create

more voicethreads and provides more storage space.

Click on Products tab

Click on K-12

Click on Single Educator


Click on Apply under VT educator

Complete the information

and submit.

You will receive an

e-mail confirmation that you need

to respond to in order to complete the


process.
After your account has been established:

Click on the Create tab

Click on Upload

Click on the area where you are

importing images from. Select

your images.

Your images will

be seen on the opening

screen. You may add a

title if you prefer and


can rearrange the order
of pictures.
Next, you will click on the comment tab

You will be prompted to add a picture for your identity.

You do not have to do this if you do not wish. This


picture will be shown when the narrator is speaking.
This is beneficial if there is more than one speaker so
that the audience can visualize the speaker. Click to upload or close out if you do not
want to upload a picture.

You will then see the picture options. Click on the picture
you want to comment on.

The picture will enlarge to fill the screen.

Click on the comment tab.


There are several ways you can comment on pictures:

Use your webcam and microphone Use your microphone

Complete this process for all pictures.

Once you have completed your narration,

You are given a link to access your story.

You can copy the link, send it in an e-mail or

Embed it into a webpage.


Click on my Voice

You will enter information about

your story regarding title,

description and tags.

You can access your saved story via the link or by logging in to your account and
accessing MyVoice.
