Round 3-6: repeat Round 2, Note: you can
increase/decrease the length between rounds 3-6.
Abbreviations Thumb space
Slip stitch = slst
Round 7: continue working shell pattern around
Chain = ch\ until the last 3 shells, skip the last 3 shells and join
Single Crochet = sc to the top of the first dc, this will have created the
thumb space,
Double Crochet =dc
Round 8; slst into center of ch-1 sp and shell, shell
Half double crochet = hdc in each ch sp around, join with slst and fasten off.
Front post = FP
Back post = BP
Front post Half double crochet = FPHdc
Back post Half double crochet = BPHdc
Starting with the cuff
Ch 40, join with slst making ring, being careful not
Trim
Picot stitch = (sc,ch3,slst) in same sp.
Slst around top of shells placing a Picot stitch in
each ch-1 sp, (center of shell) I placed my bead
between the 1st and 2nd ch of the ch3 picot stitch,
repeat around the thumb space, placing bead in the
ch-1 sp.
Alternatively you could sew the beads on.
