ِ ‫ﺮ َﻣ َﻊ ٱ ِْﲰ ِﻪ َﺷﻲءٌ ِﰲ اﻷَْر‬‫ﻀ‬

ُ َ‫ﺬي ﻻَ ﻳ‬‫ﺑِ ْﺴ ِﻢ اﷲ اﻟ‬
[323/4 ‫ )ﺛﻼﺛﺎً( ]أﺑﻮ داود‬.‫ﻴﻊ اﻟْ َﻌﻠِـﻴﻢ‬ ِ
‫ اﻟﻠّﻪُ َو ْﺣ َﺪﻩُ ﻻ‬‫ ﻻَ إِﻟَﻪَ إﻻ‬، ‫ﻤﺪ ﷲ‬ ُ ُ ‫ﺴﻤ‬ ‫َوُﻫ َﻮ اﻟ‬
servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I
ُ َ‫ﻚ ﷲ َواﳊ‬ ُ ‫َﺻﺒَ َﺢ اﻟْ ُﻤ ْﻠ‬
ْ ‫َﺻﺒَ ْﺤﻨﺎ َوأ‬ْ‫أ‬ can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have
‫ب‬ ‫ َر‬،‫ﻞ َﺷ ْﻲ ٍء ﻗَ ِﺪ ٌﻳﺮ‬ ‫ َوُﻫ َﻮ َﻋﻠَﻰ ُﻛ‬،‫ﻚ َوﻟَﻪُ ا ْﳊَ ْﻤ ُﺪ‬ َ ‫َﺷ ِﺮ‬
ُ ْ‫ ﻟَﻪُ اﻟْ ُﻤﻠ‬،ُ‫ﻳﻚ ﻟَﻪ‬
committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I Bismillaahil-ladhee laa yadhurru ma`asmihi shayun fil-‘ardhi
acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can wa laa fis-samaa’i wa huwas-samee`ul-`aleem. (3 times)
‫ﺮ‬‫ﻚ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺷـ‬ ِ
َ ِ‫َﻋـﻮذُ ﺑ‬ُ ‫ َوأ‬،ُ‫ﻚ َﺧْﻴـَﺮ ﻣﺎ ِﰲ َﻫ َﺬا اﻟْﻴَـ ْﻮم َو َﺧْﻴـَﺮ ﻣﺎ ﺑـَ ْﻌ َﺪﻩ‬ َ ُ‫أَ ْﺳـﺄَﻟ‬
forgive sin except You.
In the name of Allaah with whose name nothing is harmed on
ِ ‫ب أَﻋﻮذُﺑِﻚ ِﻣﻦ اﻟْ َﻜﺴ ِﻞ وﺳ‬
،‫ﻮء اﻟْ ِﻜ َِﱪ‬ ُ َ َ َ َ ُ  ‫ َر‬،ُ‫ﺮ ﻣﺎ ﺑـَ ْﻌ َﺪﻩ‬‫َﻫ َﺬا اﻟْﻴَـ ْﻮم َو َﺷ‬
ِ َ ‫ﻮت َوإِﻟَْﻴ‬
‫ﻚ‬ َ ِ‫ﻚ َْﳓﻴَﺎ َوﺑ‬
ُ ُ‫ﻚ َﳕ‬ َ ِ‫ َوﺑ‬،‫ﻚ أ َْﻣ َﺴْﻴـﻨَﺎ‬
َ ِ‫َﺻﺒَ ْﺤﻨَﺎ َوﺑ‬
ْ‫ﻚأ‬َ ِ‫ﻢ ﺑ‬ ‫ ُﻬ‬‫اﻟﻠ‬ earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The All-
Knowing. (Three times)

[2088/4 ‫]ﻣﺴﻠﻢ‬ Allaahumma bika asbahnaa wa bika amsaynaa, wa bika (‫ﺻﻠَﻰ اﷲُ َﻋﻠَْﻴ ِﻪ َو َﺳﻠَ َﻢ‬
َ ) ‫ﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﺎﻹﺳﻼم دﻳـﻨﺎً َوِﲟُ َﺤـ‬

ْ ِ‫ـﺖ ﺑِﺎﷲ َرﺑـّﺎً َوﺑ‬

ُ ‫َرﺿﻴ‬
nahyaa, wa bika namootu wa ilaykan-nushoor.
Asbahnaa wa-asbahal-mulku lillaahi walhamdu lillaahi, laa [6428 ‫ ]ﺻﺤﻴﺢ اﳉﺎﻣﻊ‬.ً‫ﻧَﺒِﻴّـﺎ‬
O Allaah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by
ilaaha illAllaahu, wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa Your leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we
lahul-hamd, wa huwa `alaa kulli shayin qadeer. Rabbi as- Radheetu billaahi rabban wa bil-islaami deenan wa bi-
live and die and unto You is our resurrection. Muhammadin (salallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) nabiyyan.

‫ﻢ َﻋﺎﻓِ ِـﲏ ﰲ‬ ‫ اﻟﻠّ ُﻬ‬،‫ﻢ َﻋﺎﻓِ ِـﲏ ِﰲ ﲰَْﻌِﻲ‬ ‫ اﻟﻠّ ُﻬ‬،‫ﻢ َﻋﺎﻓِ ِـﲏ ِﰲ ﺑَ َﺪِﱐ‬ ‫اﻟﻠّ ُﻬ‬
ba`dahu, wa a`oodhu bika min sharri hadhal-yawmi, wa I am pleased with Allaah as a Lord, and Islam as a religion and
sharri maa ba`dahu. Rabbi a`oodhu bika minal-kasali, wa Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a Prophet. (Once in the

We have reached the morning and at this very time unto (ً‫ )ﺛﻼﺛﺎ‬.‫ﺖ‬ ِ ‫ﻚ ِﻣﻦ َﻋ َﺬ‬
َ ْ‫ أَﻧ‬‫ ﻻَ إِﻟَﻪَ إِﻻ‬،‫اب اﻟْ َﻘ ِْﱪ‬ ِ ُ ‫وأ‬
ْ َ ‫َﻋـﻮذُﺑ‬ َ َ ‫ َوِر‬،‫ُﺳْﺒ َﺤﺎ َن اﷲ َوﲝَ ْﻤﺪﻩ َﻋ َﺪ َد َﺧ ْﻠﻘﻪ‬
[2090/4 ‫ )ﺛﻼﺛﺎً( ]ﻣﺴﻠﻢ‬.‫ﻛﻠِﻤﺎﺗِِﻪ‬
Allaah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allaah.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone,

without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise Allaahumma `aafinee fee badanee, Allaahumma `aafinee fee
sam`ee, Allaahumma `aafinee fee basaree, laa ilaaha illaa Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi, `adada khalqihi wa ridhaa
and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for
anta. Allaahumma innee a`oodhu bika minal-kufri, wal-faqri, nafsihi, wa zinata `arshihi, wa midaada kalimaatihi. (3 times)
the good of this day and the good of what follows it and I

Allaahumma anta rabbee, laa ilaaha illaa anta. Khalaqtanee A`oodhu bi-kalimatillaahit-taammaati min sharri maa khalaq. Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoom, bi-rahmatika astagheethu, aslih lee
wa ana `abduka, wa ana `alaa `ahdika wa wa`dika mas- (3 times in the evening) sha’nee kullahu, wa laa takilnee ilaa nafsee tarfata `aynin.

Alhamdu lillaahil-ladhee kasaanee hadhaa (ath-thawb) wa I ask You (Allaah) for forgiveness.

razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minnee wa laa quwwah.

َ َ‫ﻢ ﻗ ِﲏ َﻋ َﺬاﺑ‬ ‫ ُﻬ‬‫اﻟﻠ‬
ُ ‫ﻚ ﻳـَ ْﻮَم ﺗَـْﺒـ َﻌ‬ َ ‫ اﷲُ َو ْﺣ َﺪﻩُ ﻻَ َﺷ ِﺮ‬‫أَ ْﺷ َﻬ ُﺪ أَ ْن ﻻَ إِﻟَﻪَ إِﻻ‬
ً‫ﻤﺪا‬ َ‫ن ُﳏ‬ َ‫ﻳﻚ ﻟَﻪُ َوأَ ْﺷ َﻬ ُﺪ أ‬ Bismillaah, tawakkaltu `alallaahi, wa laa hawla wa laa
quwwata illaa billaah.
Allaahumma qinee `adhaabaka yawma tab`athu `ibaadak. [209/1 ‫ ]ﻣﺴﻠﻢ‬.ُ‫ﺳﻮﻟُﻪ‬ ُ ‫َﻋْﺒ ُﺪﻩُ َوَر‬ In the name of Allaah, I place my trust in Allaah, and there is

ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﺼ ِﺮي ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬ ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬
In Your name O Allaah, I live and die.
Allaahummaj-`alnee minat-tawwaabeena waj`alnee minal- .‫ﻢ أ َْﻋ ِﻄ ِﲏ ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬ ‫ ُﻬ‬‫ اﻟﻠ‬.‫ َوِﻣﻦ َْﲢﺘِـﻲ ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬،‫اﺟ َﻌ ْـﻞ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻓَـ ْﻮﻗِـﻲ ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬
ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﻧُ ًﻮرا‬
mutatahhireen.

O Allaah, make me of those who return to You often in
Adkhaar for awakening from Sleep repentance and make me of those who remain clean and Allaahummaj`al fee qalbee nooran, wa fee lisaanee nooran,

ُ ‫َﺣـﻴَﺎﻧَﺎ ﺑـَ ْﻌ َـﺪ َﻣﺎ أَﻣﺎﺗَـﻨَﺎ َوإِﻟَْﻴ ِﻪ اﻟﻨ‬
waj`al fee sam`ee nooran, waj`al fee basaree nooran, waj`al

ُ ‫ـﺸ‬ ْ ‫ﺬي أ‬‫ﻪ اﻟ‬‫اﳊَ ْﻤ ُـﺪ ﻟﻠ‬ min khalfee nooran, wa min amaamee nooran, waj`al min
fawqee nooran, wa min tahtee nooran. Allaahumma a`tinee
Du`aa before entering the toilet

Alhamdu lillaahil-ladhee ahyaanaa ba`da maa amaatanaa .‫اﳋَﺒﺎﺋِﺚ‬ ِ ‫اﳋﺒ‬

All praise is for Allaah who gave us life after having taken it light and beneath me light .O Allaah, bestow upon me light.

‫ ﻓَﺎﻗْ ِﺪ ْرﻩُ ِﱄ‬،‫ﺎﺷﻲ َو َﻋﺎﻗِﺒَ ِﺔ أ َْﻣ ِﺮي‬ ِ ‫ ﺧﻴـﺮ ِﱄ ِﰲ ِد ِﻳﲏ وﻣﻌ‬- ‫ﺣﺎﺟﺘﻪ‬ .‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﻮب إِﻟَ ْـﻴ‬
ُ ‫َوأَﺗُـ‬
[4591 ‫ ]أﺑﻮ داود واﻧﻈﺮ ﺻﺤﻴﺢ اﳉﺎﻣﻊ ﺑﺮﻗﻢ‬.‫ﲪَﺘِﻚ‬ ْ ‫اب َر‬َ ‫اﻓْـﺘَ ْـﺢ ِﱄ أَﺑْـ َﻮ‬ َََ ٌَْ ََ Subhaanakallaahumma wa bihamdika, Ashhadu an laa
ِِ
A`oodhu billaahil-`atheemi wa bi-wajhihil-kareemi wa
‫ﺮ ِﱄ ِﰲ‬‫ن ﻫﺬا اﻷَ ْﻣَﺮ َﺷ‬ َ‫ﺖ ﺗَـ ْﻌﻠَ ُﻢ أ‬ َ ‫ َوإِ ْن ُﻛْﻨ‬،‫ ﺑَﺎ ِرْك ِﱄ ﻓﻴﻪ‬ُ‫ﺴ ْﺮﻩُ ِﱄ ﰒ‬ َ‫َوﻳ‬ ilaaha illaa Anta astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilayk.

sultaanihil-qadeemi minash-shaytaanir-rajeemi [bismillaah,

was-salaatu was-salaamu `alaa rasoolillaah],
‫اﺻ ِﺮﻓْ ِﲏ َﻋْﻨﻪُ َواﻗْ ِﺪ ْر ِﱄ‬
ْ ‫ﲏ َو‬ ‫ﺎﺻ ِﺮﻓْﻪُ َﻋ‬
ِِ ِ
ْ َ‫ ﻓ‬،‫د ِﻳﲏ َوَﻣﻌﺎﺷﻲ َوﻋﺎﻗﺒَﺔ أ َْﻣ ِﺮي‬
ِ How perfect You are O Allaah, and I praise You. I bear witness
that None has the right to be worshipped except You. I seek
Allaahummaftah lee abwaaba rahmatik. .‫ﺿ ِﲏ ﺑِ ِﻪ‬
ِ ‫ أَر‬ُ‫ﺚ ﻛﺎ َن ﰒ‬
ْ ُ ‫اﳋَْﻴـَﺮ َﺣْﻴ‬ْ Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

I take refuge with Allaah, The Supreme and with His Noble
Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil. In
the name of Allaah, and prayers and peace be upon the
Messenger of Allaah. O Allaah, open the gates of Your mercy
for me.

Bismillaahi was-salaatu was-salaamu `alaa rasoolillaahi,
Allaahumma innee as’aluka min fadhlika,
Allaahumma`simnee minash-shaytaanir-rajeem.
‘In the name of Allaah, and prayers and peace be upon the
Messenger of Allaah. O Allaah, I ask You from Your favour. O
Allaah, guard me from the accursed devil.’
Supplication for seeking guidance in forming a decision or
choosing the proper course…etc (Al-Istikhaarah)
On the authority of Jaabir Ibn `Abdullaah ‫رضي ﷲ عنه‬, he said:
’The Prophet
would instruct us to pray for guidance in all of
Allaahumma inee astakheeruka bi`ilmika, wa astaqdiruka Supplication of the guest for the host
biqudratika, wa as’aluka min fadhlikal-`atheemi, fa-innaka

ْ ُ ْ َ ‫ َوٱ ْﻏﻔ ْـﺮ َﳍُ ْـﻢ‬،‫ﻢ ﺑَﺎرْك َﳍُ ْﻢ ﻓﻴﻤﺎ َرَزﻗْـﺘَـ ُﻬﻢ‬ ‫ ُﻬ‬‫اﻟﻠ‬
.‫َْﻬﻢ‬
‫وارﲪ‬
taqdiru wa laa aqdiru, wa ta`lamu wa laa a`lamu, wa anta
`alaamul-ghuyoob, Allaahumma in kunta ta`lamu anna
haadhal-amra (say your need) khayrun lee fee deenee wa Allaahumma baarik lahum feemaa razaqtahum, waghfir
ma`aashee wa `aaqibati amree, faqdirhu lee wa yassirhu lee lahum warhamhum.
thumma baarik lee feehi, wa in kunta ta`lamu anna haadhal-
 ‫ﺑِ ْﺴ ِﻢ اﷲِ َواﻟ‬
O Allaah, bless for them, that which You have provided them,
amra sharrun lee fee deenee wa ma`aashee wa `aaqibati
amree, fasrifhu `annee wasrifnee `anhu waqdir lil-khayra
forgive them and have mercy upon them.

haythu kaana thumma ardhinee bih.
When entering the market
O Allaah, I seek Your counsel by Your knowledge and by Your
power I seek strength and I ask You from Your immense
favor, for verily You are able while I am not and verily You ‫ ُْﳛﻴِـﻲ َو‬،‫اﳊَ ْﻤ ُـﺪ‬
ْ ُ‫ﻚ َوﻟَﻪ‬ َ ‫ﻪُ َو ْﺣ َﺪﻩُ ﻻَ َﺷ ِﺮ‬‫ اﻟﻠ‬‫ﻻَ إِﻟَﻪَ إَﻻ‬
ُ ‫ ﻟَﻪُ اﻟْ ُﻤ ْﻠ‬،ُ‫ﻳﻚ ﻟَﻪ‬
know while I do not and You are the Knower of the unseen. O
.‫ﺪﻳﺮ‬ِ ٍ ْ ِ‫ ﺑِﻴَ ِﺪﻩ‬،‫ﻮت‬ ِ
ٌ َ‫ﻞ َﺷ ْﻲء ﻗ‬ ‫اﳋـَْﻴـُﺮ َوُﻫ َﻮ َﻋﻠَﻰ ُﻛ‬ ُ َُ‫ﻲ ﻻَ ﳝ‬ ‫ﻴﺖ َوُﻫ َﻮ َﺣ‬ ُ ‫ُﳝ‬
Allaah, if You know this affair -and here he mentions his need-
to be good for me in relation to my religion, my life, and end,
then decree and facilitate it for me, and bless me with it, and Laa ilaaha illAllaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku
if You know this affair to be ill for me towards my religion, my wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyee wa yumeetu wa Huwa Hayyun laa

‫ﻛ ْﻞ َﻋﻠَﻰ اﷲ‬‫ﺖ ﻓَـﺘَـ َﻮ‬ ْ ‫ َو َﺷﺎ ِوْرُﻫ ْﻢ ِﰲ‬

a matter then let him pray two supererogatory units (two Wa shaawirhum fil-amri fa’idhaa `azamta fatawakkal

naqqaytath-thawbal-abyadha minad-danasi, wa abdilhu

deeds in the trust of Allaah.
