Dear Student,

Starting this academic session, you will have to do only one Tutor Marked assignment for
each of the elective courses in Political Science. Each assignment has three sections and
carries 100 marks.

This booklet has the assignment for the BDP elective course EPS-11: Political Ideas
and Ideologies. Before attempting the assignment, please read the instructions provided
in the Programme Guide sent to you separately.

Submission

For July 2008 session, you need to submit the assignments to the Coordinator of your
Study Centre by March 31, 2009, and for January 2009 session by September 30, 2009
for being eligible to appear in the term-end examination.
