Costa Rican immigration polices

As in every country Costa Rica has their own policies of immigration. Those laws

seek to regulate the flow of people who come to their country and most important,

Why do they come?

Migration is a major challenge for all governments in the region. That´s why the

Costa Rican government decided to create polices to regulate this problem.

The Political Constitution states in the Migration and Immigration clause:

• Regulate the Costa Rican people´s income and foreign to the republic

territory and the exit of it.

• Public interest is declared as an essential part of security public on all

immigration matters.

• Allow or deny the entry and stay of foreigners in the country, according to

this law.

There were just a little abstract of the rest of the laws which state to safe the

citizens people of Costa Rica, denying the entrance of people who come to steal or

to involve nationals into illegal trade.

As Costa Rican we must be proud of our national migration system.
