Horizontal Level

• Slope of the collector to the horizontal should be 5 to


10 degrees more than the latitude of the location

• Minimum slope = 17C for thermosiphon system

• Slope for Wranda: Latitude of Wranda + 10C is recommended


• Eg: for Kathmandu: 27C+10C = 37C is recommended!

• However, minimum slope should be 17C.
