JOB RESPOSIBILITIES

• Review of WPS and PQR as per project specification

• Familiar with MT, PT and RT film interpretation
• To follow all quality control procedure, inspection and test plan.
• Checking joint fit-up & Monitoring and controlling welding consumables.
• Familiar with welding inspections that is before , during and after welding activities at
site
• Reviewing filler wires and electrodes of welding procedure specification
• Qualification and performance monitoring of welding personnel.
• Supervision and inspection Welding, Pre-heat and Post Weld Heat Treatment of weld.
• Development and implementation of inspection checklist and report/format.
• Co-ordination of all destructive and Non-destructive testing at various sites for different
clients.
• Responsible for alloy metal verification.
 • Familiar with PMI , Hardness , PWHT tests etc………….
• Reviewing the spool Releasing check sheet and sending to sites after approving.
• Reviewing final Packages for Hydro tests, approving & releasing for Hydro test.
• Preparing the punch list items as per P & ID and Isometric such as, Pipe supports, Valves,
Guides, Shoe supports and NDT completion and approving/ releasing packages for hydro
test.
• Monitoring of various welding process like GMAW, GTAW, SMAW & SAW.
