HOD REPORT QUARTERLY REPORT

MONITORING AND SUPPORTING EDUCATORS


Visited to check classroom arrangement, labelling, charts
posters and corners.Reccomended the improvements to
be done and applauded job well done .classrooms to be
conducive for learning and to be print rich.

INTERVENTION PROGRAMME FOR EDUCATORS


Educators were developed on planning on Life skills and
African languages. Print rich environment was
encouraged.

INTERVENTION PROGRAMME FOR LEARNERS


Lists of learners with learning barriers checked. Support
forms submitted to the SBST and checked. Enrichment to
be provided for fast learners and enrichment programme
to be in place for learners who are struggling in class.
Parents informed about learning barriers by the class
teacher.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Foundation for learning campaign a wonderful
document.Hod forum a platform of development.
Learners participated in athletics and proceeded to
district level where they got medals. Learners
participated in music competitions.

CHALLENGES
There is a need for training on implementing the
Foundation for learning campaign file .We is doing trial
and error. Time is also a challenge when teaching.
Paperwork is still a challenge.

PLANS TO ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES


Hod forum to be a platform of development and
information sharing. Cluster and phase meetings. District
to also assist in unpacking the Foundation for learning
campaign.
