CPIPE is a training centre for the building

sector in the province of Padua and belongs
to FORMEDIL national network of building
schools.
CPIPE foundation

In the first collective national labour
contract (1946) social parts agreed
to found “building schools” organised
at provincial level and managed in a
bilateral way (employers + workers)

Cpipe was founded in Padua on the
11th December 1947
CPIPE main activities:
• initial vocational training to accomplish the
training compulsory period for young to be
introduced in building enterprises as apprentice or
qualified worker
• apprenticeship training in collaboration with all the
building schools of Veneto, craft training centres and
trade unions;
• continuous training in the field of work safety
• restoration training: traditional techniques for
maintenance and restoration of architectural
heritage and technology innovation
• higher vocational training
• training for the installation and the knowledge of
building materials and components
• training for the social dialogue actors
CPIPE TARGET GROUPS:

Initial training

young students (15) – after the
compulsory school

they can obtain a regional qualification in
the building sector (bricklayer, carpenter,
excavator driver, etc.)

training for employees to update their
skills

training for workers who would like to
start their own enterprise

Training for entrepreneurs and technicians
who would like to update their technical
and management skills

The school activities are financed by:

building enterprises (in percentage to
the total salaries of their employees);

public funds (Region, EU
Commission, Ministry)
