Title: My Title reflects the main idea. It is centered

and is written larger than the rest of the writing.
My First (Introduction) Paragraph introduces the

the next 2-3 paragraphs will be about, I have
indented, capitalized my Is and Proper nouns, and
have written at least 5-10 lines.

My Second Paragraph focuses on 1 main idea. I will only talk about that
main idea here. I have used information from the text, and I will cite which
article I got that information from. I can write personal connections I have
about this topic as long as the voice I used is correct for an
informative/argumentative essay. I have used proper spelling, grammar,
and my sentences do not sound like a robot. I have used a transition word at
the beginning of this paragraph, indented, and I have written at least 8 -15
lines.
My Third Paragraph focuses on 1 other main idea. I will only talk about that
main idea here. I have used information from the text, and I will cite from a
different fact from the article where I got information from. I can write
personal connections I have about this topic as long as the voice I used is
correct for an informative/argumentative essay. I have used proper spelling,
grammar, and my sentences do not sound like a robot. I have used a
transition word at the beginning of this paragraph, indented, and I have
written at least 8 -15 lines

My Last (Conclusion) Paragraph repeats the main summary of your whole
essay. I remind the reader what the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paragraphs were
about. The last line of this paragraph is a release hook, and it makes the
reader think about what they have just learned. I have indented, capitalized
my Is and Proper nouns, and have written at least 5-10 lines.

Understaning Your
The Quest for Religious Freedom
In 1620 a group of people came together and decided they needed to make a
change. These people were known as the Pilgrims. The Pilgrims lived in England, and
many of them had become unhappy that their King would not let them pray the way
that they wanted to. They wanted the freedom to celebrate religion the way they
would want to. At first they tried to hide their religion from the government. They would
meet with others in private to avoid the wrath of the King. They didnt know that the
King had spies attending their religious meetings and many of these people were
thrown into jail.
