Three places for

visit in Nicaragua
and Why

San Juan del Sur

One of the most important tourist

destinations, famous for its live
entertainment, nightlife and beautiful
beaches environments in the Pacific
Ocean.

Another must-see attractions in the

surroundings of San Juan, corresponds
to the Wildlife Refuge Playa La Flor, a
sanctuary of nature, where it is
possible to appreciate between July
and January show turtle Paslama that
reach the sand to lay their eggs.

Ometepe Island
It corresponds to that of Lake Nicaragua or Lake
Nicaragua, scene of stunning scenery, formed by two
volcanoes, surf beaches and nature reserves largest
volcanic island.

Islets of Granada

These islands, in Nicaragua called Las

Isletas, serve different purposes. There is a
community of about 1,200 people living on
the islands, being mostly fishermen. Other
islands accommodate hotels or luxury
villas (some can be rented).
In the port of Granada there are several
boatmen that offer a boat trip around the
islands. You can slowly go through the
islands and capture a little of the vastness
of Lake Nicaragua. The bird life is
abundant on the island. I could see crows,
herons, parrots, falcons, vultures and
many other birds. The lake is also home to
many fish. Once, freshwater sharks
abound in the lake. You can see the huge
volcano Mombacho right next to the lake.
