The influence of effective teachers upon academic achievement has always been recognized as a
positive factor. Teachers who teach by heart, committed and dedicated to the teaching profession
are considered assets of the organization which Pulo National High School has and truly we should
be proud of. We, the teaching force of Pulo National High School, headed by Dr. Cristina E. Talambayan, continuously improve and innovate our way of teachings to prepare our learners with what
the world would require of them and be able to tap their full potentials. It is evident that for two
consecutive school years, our students , teachers and administrators as well consistently gave name
and honor to our beloved school .
Considering that there were many
principals who competed for the outstanding principal in
the division of Laguna, our very own, Dr. Cristina E. Talambayan, was adjudged as the 2014 First
Regional Gawad Patnugot Awardee for Outstanding Principal Vis--vis CALABARZON Gawad
Patnugot Batangas City Convention Center- October 7, 2014.
Besides, she has received the following distinctions:

Most Effective Action Research Division Level Gawad Patnugot Award, August 25,2016.

A consistent speaker and A Pioneer of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Program in the division, Regional and National Level
Fourth Placer of the Brigada Eskwela 2015-Regional Level
Her dedication and commitment towards work is truly beyond expectation.

Another pride of Pulo NHS is none

other
than Mr. Jonathan H. Marquez, the
Master Teacher I of the English
Department , has conquered the
whole Division of Laguna as the Outstanding Teacher of the year in 2012
-2013 and Outstanding School
-Paper Adviser Division level
and Regional finalist for two consecutive years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 .
As coach and trainer of Laguna
Division in Campus Journalism , he
has produced division , Regional, and
National winners.
His contribution to journalism has
truly
inspired the youth to be transparent
and unbiased in all aspects.

Another award winning teacher is Mr.

Alvin
Espinas who received the following
achievements:

3. Vice President SEMATAL (Secondary Mathematics

His contribution to Continuous Improvement Program
has proven its worth to improve quality
education.

Mr. Michael Pantaleon, a former teacher

of our school also received the same award
as the Most Effective Action Research
Division Level Gawad Patnugot Award,
August 25,2016.
He was also a National NEAP Trainor.
His potential and expertise in terms
of Research works and trainings were
truly appreciated by the Division of Laguna.
Hence, he was hired as ESP II
(Education Program Specialist II) in the
Division Office of Laguna.

And lastly, Mrs. Maria Victoria Rodriguez ,

the Head Teacher III of the Science Department,
who recently passed the Principal ship
Examination.

Indeed, they all served as LIVING TROPHIES who definitely inspire the
teaching force of Pulo NHS and most
specially our students.
