1. Overview
Merimen Online solution aims to provide the related parties in the automotive collision repair
industry a collaborative and information exchange platform to transact manage and process
all motor claims related activities.
Merimen Online solution for repairers and workshop comprises of three (3) major modules
that cover the entire claims repair processing workflow; workshop operational & management
system and placing the workshop in the forefront of the claims repair network.
Merimen Online Motor Claim (eClaim) module for repairers
1. Prepare and submit estimation online to insurer: Instead of preparing repair estimates on
forms and submitting to insurers by fax, repairers can now prepare and submit estimates
via Merimen Online to insurers.
2. Comprehensive database of part model and labor hours: Repairers can select the parts
that need repair or replacement and our intelligent labor system will identify the repair
time needed for dismantling and assembling of the parts. Not only that, the system will
recommend the paint materials needed as well as the labor time required for repainting.
Repairers no longer need to call up part suppliers to source for parts availability and to
check for part prices. Merimen Online solution comes with a comprehensive parts price
database with recommended franchise price.
3. Document management: Claims related documents can be attached together with the
estimates and submit online to insurers for immediate processing.
4. Tracking claim progress: The workflow engine behind Merimen Online will track the
progress of the claim regardless of where it is. Business rules are automated to prevent
mishandling of documents found in manual submission. Repairer will no longer need to
call up insurers to enquire about the status of the claim since they can check it online
themselves.
Merimen Online e-Profile (eProfile) module for repairers
1. Workshop profiling: Promote your workshop directly to the insurers during panel workshop
selection process. Once you submit your profile online, insurers will be able to view your
profile online. This improves your chances of being selected.
2. Maintain your profile: Update your workshop profile regularly, online at anytime. All profile
updates will be accessible by Insurers on real time basis.
3. Self Assessment: conduct regular self assessment to see if you meet panel workshop
criteria defined by insurers

Merimen Online Workshop Management System (WMS) module


1. Repair Card:
Create a repair card when motor vehicle is sent in for repair and/or service. Portrays your
workshop professionalism and efficiency to your customers.
2. Repair Card:
Vehicle in the workshop can be tracked in WMS from the time when the vehicle is towedin until when the vehicle is completed and paid up for, reflecting the complete working
processes in your workshop. WMS will allow workshop to instantly locate the stage of
repair of a particular vehicle, and to keep track of the duration the vehicle has been at a
stage of repair
3. Account Tracking:

Maintain simple accounts with various parties such as part suppliers, insurers, etc. This
simple accounting assist you to track your costs and expenses to asses your workshop
profitability.
4. e-Board Monitoring:
e-Board monitoring is the electronic version of your workshop notice board. Provides you with a
birds eye view of the entire process, number of vehicles sent in for repair, duration of repair for
each vehicle and when vehicle repair is completed and ready for delivery.

5. SMS:
A cost effective and convenient way to communicate with motor vehicle owners. Send
SMS to notify owners once repair is complete and ready for collection.
6. Workshop Process Workflow:
Allow managers to manage repair process throughout all stages of repair (part sourcing,
spray painting, alignment, etc), whether job is outsourced or internal. Manager can also
keep track of job assignments, track job cycle time and monitor the performance of job
assigned.
7. Contact Management:
Comes with the workshops address book. Individual can also create their own personal
address book with common contact categories such as parts suppliers, insurers, etc.
Address book is linked to your document generation tool, making it easy to select
recipients for your letter, etc.
8. Automatic Document Generation:
Standard templates and forms for quotations, invoices, estimates, appeal letters, claim
forms, etc.

9. Event Management:
Your personal organizer to keep track of important events such as appointments,
birthdays, etc and manage your tasks in hand. It allows you to set reminders to tasks or

to events for follow up or attention. Task due will be shown on main page upon sign in
for follow up.

database, Merimen Online has achieved full-compliance with MRC guidelines.
E-Profile Competitive Edge
Insurers are currently using the e-Profile for short listing and managing their panel workshop.
Hence, using e-Profile will give you a competitive edge. Updating and managing your profile
on e-Profile will ensure that insurers will always have your latest profile on real time. Be
informed of insurers latest criteria and requirement by using e-Profile self assessment tool for
detailed side-by-side comparison.

Cost Effective
Merimen only charges RM10 for OD/TP claims and RM5 for Windscreen claims created using
Merimen Online. There is no additional software or hardware investment cost involved.
Internet-based No Setup & Maintenance
All you need to access Merimen Online is a PC with Internet access. Upon successful
registration, you will be assigned with an authorized login account and initial password.
No setup or software installation and maintenance is required.

3. Registration Process
How to Register
1) Print out and complete Merimen Online Solution (for repairers & workshops)
registration form, as attached.
2) Payment can be made either by cheque or direct debit. See Payment Method
3) Fax the completed registration form together with your payment slip to Merimen at fax
no.: 603 8942 8318 for immediate processing.
4) Please write your company name and number on the front of the payment slip
(preferably above the top) and ensure that any other information is clear.
5) All registrations are subject to the Terms and Conditions stated in the Section 4 of the
registration form.

Your payment slip must accompany the registration form for processing. Your payment will
not be refunded after registration.
Credit Points Deduction
Merimen will automatically credit points based on the table below. If credit point balance is
not sufficient for deduction, your access to Merimen Online maybe interrupted.

Section 4

Terms & Conditions

Registration as Merimen Online user and registered user of Merimen Online solution is subject to the following terms
and condition and to the Terms of Use stipulated in http://www.merimen.com.my
Definition
1. Merimen Online Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as Merimen) is in the business of providing solution on
application service provider (ASP) hosted model. The customer has requested for the provision of the Merimen
Online solution (repairers & workshops) by way of registration using this registration form, which will allow the
customer access the Merimen Online solution which is located at http://www.merimen.com.my
2. Merimen Online solution for repairers and workshops includes the services of the three subsystems i.e. Merimen
Online Motor Claim solution (eClaim) module, Merimen Online e-Profile (eProfile) module and Merimen Online
Workshop Management System (WMS) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Services)
3. The registered user shall mean a natural person other than minor and shall include employees, servants and
agents of the company, partnership or sole entity listed on Section 1 of this registration form, whose registration
has been accepted and activated by Merimen.
4. The customer shall mean the company, partnership or sole entity listed on Section 1 of this registration form.
Payment and Credit Points Top Up
1. The payment covers for the service(s) as indicated in Section 2 of this registration form.
2. Payment for eProfile registration is charged at RM500.00 for first year only and payment for eClaim and WMS
services shall be converted into credit points for auto deduction according to the credit point deduction as indicated
below.
3. Your payment slip must accompany the registration form for processing.
4. Payment for registration and/or credit points top up can be made either by direct debit to MAYBANK Account No.:
512661010547 or by cheque made payable to MERIMEN ONLINE SDN. BHD.
5. Cheques must reach Merimen at the address provided at first page of this registration form.
6. Direct debit payment slip must be faxed to Merimen at +603 89428318, clearly stating your company name and
number on the top front of the payment slip.
Service Activation and Expiration
1. Merimen Online e-Profile registration is valid for 12 months only. Renewal fee is RM350.00, payable by cheque or
direct debit; or deduct 350 credit points only.
2. Registration is not effective until the registration information is verified by Merimen and payment has been cleared
by the bank.
Credit Point Deduction
1. Credit Points are not transferable to any other person or entity.
2. Merimen will automatically deduct 10 credit points for OD/TP claim; 5 credit points for the creation of a windscreen

claim; 0.2 credit points for each SMS sent and 10 credit points per month for WMS monthly subscription fee.
Additional charges by third party may be applicable.

Notice of Points deduction and balance


1. Registered user shall regularly check credit point balance via Merimen Online to ensure sufficient credit point
balance available.
2. For annual renewal fee auto deduction - Merimen shall send an email confirmation upon successful annual
renewal fee deduction. If credit point balance is not sufficient for annual deduction, your access the Services
maybe interrupted.
General
1. All credit points balance will be treated as null or void upon cancellation of the Services for any reason whatsoever
and regardless of whether the cancellation is effected by Merimen or the registered user.
2. Merimen reserves the right to invoice the full amount including any legal costs and administration fees to the
registered user who is in breach of these terms and conditions of the Services agreement between Merimen and
the registered user.
3. In any event of circumstances, Merimen reserves the right to revise the Credit Points at any time without prior
notice.
4. Registration and payment once accepted by Merimen may not be revoked, cancelled, returned or exchanged for
other services.
5. Registration with insufficient payment amount will not be entertained or processed.
6.

Insufficient credit balance may cause interruption of service.
