General Description
The GW Crusader Wet Alarm Valve Station (LPC approved) comprises a Model C1 swing check
sprinkler alarm valve normally flanged PN16 (flanged inlet/grooved outlet available as an option) fitted
with a butterfly isolation valve and all necessary trim, common key padlocks, pressure gauges and pressure
switches to enable the valve to operate.
All stations are arranged for bottom entry, top exit and rated for operation pressures up to 16.0 bar flanged
(12.5 bar grooved and flange grooved)
Stations are supplied in four sizes, 80, 100, 150 and 200mm nominal bore, and are supplied with all trim
fully assembled, crated for shipment.
Standard trim:
Water supply pressure gauge (100mm), complete with no loss connector.
Bell test line complete with lockable ball valve, (optional micro switch), drip union and a pressure switch
factory set to operate at 0.5 bar rising.
System pressure gauge (100mm), complete with no loss connector.
Drain valve, 2.
Note: all padlocks are common key as standard.
An optional retard chamber with integral restricted orifice can be provided where pressure surges may be
encountered.
Optional:
Butterfly isolation valve fully lugged (to BS5155 and LPC requirements) rated at 16 bar complete with dual
integral monitoring switches to indicate when the valve is moved away from the fully open position complete
with a spool piece.
Alternatively an isolation gate valve can be supplied to suit system requirements.
