Education to Stop Melanoma

Hannah Goldstein is a sophomore at River Hill High School. She has focused her year of
research on how Melanoma education towards adolescents has a positive correlation to reducing
Melanoma rates. She has conducted her research under the direction of Dr. Amanda Macleod, an
Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Duke University. She has been interested in cancer
development, including Melanoma, for several years and as a result of her research hopes to
instill the importance of adolescent education on Melanoma.
