Details: Meet local artisans, producers and mini-marketeers. Enjoy musical performances by local
musicians. Fun activities for the kids put on by Chelsea Toy Library and Chelsea Cooperative Nursery

Event: Chelseas Castenchel Choir Concert
Time: Saturday June 7, 7:30 p.m
Location: St. Stephens Church in Old Chelsea (212 Old Chelsea Road)
Details: Our concert of Folklore in Choral Music includes La Messe qubcoise and the Caribbean Mass.
La Messe qubcoise will feature renowned ddler Louis Schryer. Castenchel will be joined by a steel
drummer, double bass, set drummer and piano for the Caribbean Mass. Directed by Roland Graham.
Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance at La Fab, Les Fougres, from choir members or by phoning 819
772-1774. Tickets are $20 at the door. Everyone is welcome!

Location: Dpanneur M&R and Resto M&R (152 Old Chelsea Road)
Details: The Dpanneur M&R will be giving away free Mr. Freezies popsicles on both
Saturday and Sunday. M&R Resto will also be selling $1.00 hot dogs. Drop in with the kids
and pick up a treat.

Event: One Billion Rising Community Dance

Location: Banquet Hall, The Meredith Centre (23 Cecil Road)
Details: Join us in joyful community NIA dance in support of
One Billion Rising (OBR). OBR is an unprecedented revolution of
one million men, women, and children rising in dance to end
systemic violence. NIA is a fun, barefoot, sensory-based movement
practice that draws from the martial, healing, and dance arts.
No former dance experience required.
