Dear ESSCC Members, Springer Enthusiasts and Friends:

On Saturday August 27th, 2016 the English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada (ESSCC) will be holding its 19 th
Annual National Specialty Show and Specialty Obedience Trial in Long Sault, ON in conjunction with the Stormont,
Dundas and Glengarry Dog Association shows and trials.
In total there will be 4 All Breed shows, a separate specialty for Spaniels only show along with the National Specialty
Show and Sweepstakes. For the performance enthusiasts we offer a National Obedience Trial for ESS only along with 6
All Breed Obedience trials, 6 Rally trials and 5 Agility trials. We promise a weekend of springer fun!
The specialty will be judged by Wayne Douglas from Australia and our Sweepstakes judge will be Christopher
Giroux. Booster and All Breed judges include Anne Katona from the US, Micheal Looby and Esther Joseph of Australia,
Denys Janssen from Colombia and Anik Primeau from Canada.Our National Specialty Obedience Trial judge will be Ted
Leslie from Canada.
Holding a Specialty does not happen without the hard work of many people and it also takes considerable
funding. We are writing at this time to appeal to you and your Springer Friends for financial support for this exciting event.
This is also a way to highlight a current companion or honour the memory of your special heart dogs.
Persons making contributions to the Specialty will be recognized by the Club in the show catalogue as contributors.
