Create Your Own School Project

Your task as a group is to create a school that will better fulfill YOUR needs
as a 21st century learner.
The finished project will have three parts to it:
1. Written portion- Explains your proposal and backs up your ideas
with research. This paper, written in MLA format will consist of
argumentative, informational, and creative writing. I anticipate the
paper will be 10+ pages with an introduction, main body, conclusion,
works cited and table of contents page.
2. Visual portion- Any of the following tools will work: Power Point,
Prezi, or Google Presentation. All your visuals, data, graphs, and
images will be collected in this presentation. All images must be cited
correctly. The layout should cover each aspect you described in your
written paper.
3. Presentation portion- Inform the class using both your written and
visual parts of the project. Each presentation will be 12-15 minutes,
and each person on the team will present for a minimum of 3-4
minutes. The overall presentation should be cohesive and flow as if it
were one presentation. Practice and reread your work multiple times!
You will be graded individually on your portions of the project,
although you will want to work diligently as a group to make sure your
various ideas flow well. The entire project will take roughly 30 hours,
so please do not procrastinate! The final project will be turned in
electronically via Google Docs.

One person from the group needs to create a Google Doc (MLA FORMAT) w/ everyones name
and class period on the document
