.Throughout
thisplayyoucantrulyseetheeffectthatlovehasoverthecharactersandtherashthingsitcan
makeapersondo.Thispieceofliteraturereallyaccentuatestheheartachethatcanbecausedby
unfulfilledorforbiddenlove.
Itisacommonlyknownfactthat
RomeoandJuliet
inaromanticizedtragedyandbythe
titleyoucanassumewhotheplayisprimarilyaboutbutreallytheeffectsofloveisshownin
manyotherwaysotherthantherelationshipbetweenRomeoandJuliet.Aprimaryexampleof

SuchstrongfeelingstowardsRosalinecausedRomeotobecomeunsocialandveryunhappy.
ThisdepressionthatRomeofeltisanexampleofwhatlovecandotoaperson.Theextreme
powerthatlovehadoverRomeotowardstheunknowingRosalinetookcontrolofhisentire
worldandtheyhadntevenspokenatlength.
