WATCHING A CLIP OF A

Strengths
Students initially
graffitied on the wall
Some students
moved others writing
Some were slow to
capture the QR code
Reflections
I felt overall the lesson was a success, as all the students quickly bought into the
lesson and it was inclusive. The students whom found handwriting difficult were
able to type and the wall highlighted misspelled words, allowing them to
change it.
This was the first time that they had used technology in this way before and
therefore some students exploited the opportunity by graffiting in the initial
stages but having asked them to add their name, helped to reduce this quickly.
As the activity was multisensory and collaborative I felt that they participated
more, partly also due to the accountability with their peers as they all could see
each persons contribution and as I read them out I also offered praise of
encouragement.
In the future I would change the location of the QR code (not on a Ppt), as some
students were slow to capture it and I had to wait to see the statements which
allowed some students to be unchecked for a short time and they wrote graffiti.
Also, some students wrote more than others causing others work to be over
lapped. To minimise this next time I would give them all a word length
Future Improvements
IN THE FUTURE I WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE HOW SNAPCHAT OR PERISCOPE
COULD BE BUILT INTO THE LESSON TO HELP EXPAND & ENHANCE LEARNING
