Recommendation Letter

Dear Madame or Sir,

I am writing a letter of support for Mrs. Danielle Giles. Danielle served the Thai-Chinese International School
Community during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 school years. I had the opportunity to work closely with her as the
middle school principal during the 2015-2016 school year. During this time, I observed her qualities as a professional
educator.
During the 2015-2016 school year, Danielle served the school community as one of our guidance counselors and the
head of the Student Services Department. In her guidance counselor role, she provided classroom and administrative
support in the following areas: social and emotional student support, student discipline counseling, student success
planning, and student achievement data interpretation and analysis. Additionally, Danielle led the organization and
implementation of the student scheduling process, served as an accreditation focus group leader, organized career
days, and led professional development sessions for teachers.
Danielle was highly respected as a professional educator in the school community. She was professional in her
interactions with school stakeholders, was an effective collaborator with colleagues, and was extremely competent in
carrying out her job responsibilities. Furthermore, when I had the opportunity to collaborate with Danielle on various
school issues, such as data driven instruction, at-risk students, master schedules, and accreditation efforts, she always
provided sincere and valuable feedback and input. Moreover, as the head of the Students Services Department, she
demonstrated the necessary organizational and leadership skills to effectively lead the efforts and initiatives of the
department.
Through my experiences with Danielle Giles, she demonstrated the attributes of an effective educator. She proved to
be a dedicated, collaborative team player. She possessed outstanding professionalism and organizational skills. She
has been an outstanding contributor to our school community, and without a doubt, her efforts made our school more
effective in meeting our students needs. I enthusiastically recommend Danielle Giles for any suitable position at your
school. She has been a great asset to the Thai-Chinese International School Community, and I am confident she would
be an outstanding addition to your school faculty as well.
