Human Cloning
One of the greatest debates in science today is, should we allow human cloning? There
could be a positive impact or negative impact on human cloning. Scientist dont know for sure
but viewing both sides of this argument could help.
Having the ability to being able to clone humans could potentially have a major impact
on life today. Human cloning can have a lot of positive impact in our lives. The HRF (Heath
Research Funding) said that since DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) technology is vastly improving
human cloning could have the possibility of eliminating defective genes. Even though genetic
illnesses are not the leading cause of death it could be in the near future since human
reproduction is rapidly increasing and the possibility of damage to the DNA line could be
damaged which means more mutations and defective genes could increase but human cloning
would eliminate that because the healthy human cells the clone has reproduced. Human cloning
could also help recover from injuries faster which would help tons of athletes or people whove
been injured by accident. They would recover faster because they could clone their own cells
which would help speed up the recovery process. Another way human cloning could help is that
infertility would be eliminated because the infertile couple can just give a DNA sample and
create a baby.
Human cloning has a bunch of possibilities to help solve our current problems but
cloning would only create more problems. One problem human cloning could create is that its
simply unethical to clone human life and energyfanatic.com said that could have consequences
down the line like the loss of genetic variation which if cloning continues could make humans
very susceptible to certain diseases. Another problem could occur when were manipulating a
gene unforeseeable consequences can occur like contaminating the human DNA which could

cause a lot of new health problems. Contamination could also happen during interbreeding with
cloned humans or organs. Criminals could use human clones to make unethical money by
making human slave do labor work or selling cloned organs.
Although, human cloning could solve a lot of issues right now it would only create more
issues in the future. Human cloning is essentially unethical and questions the nature of life. If we
use human cloning than the value of human life would essentially go down because all humans
would be seen as a commodity. Human cloning could help people replace damage organs but the
cloned organ could also be contaminated and put the user at a health risk. Human cloning could
ruin individuality because clones are identical copies of the original and that could also lead to
the decrease of genetic variation which could mean that one disease could have a major impact
on our lives. All and all I think human cloning should not be allowed.
