Responsible for understanding curriculum, providing instruction to diverse students, co-teaching, collaborating

sources including primary resources from the state agencies.
Use decision making strategies to purposefully group students across classes, coordinated vertical articulation
with fourth grade, involved all stakeholder groups, including parents in State Fair.
Assisted with the coordination of Swansfields first implementation of Simulated Congressional Hearing (SCH).
Simulated Congressional Hearings coordinator for Swansfields second SCH. Contacted community members,
prepared curriculum, made scheduling decisions, and worked with team members to increase buy in.

Provide leadership in the organization, administration, and supervision of the 21 st CCLC/Bridges Program
Collaborate with staff, school administrators, and central office staff to identify targeted students in grades 3-5,
create daily and long range schedules, arrange transportation, etc.

Curriculum Writer
Social Studies: Collaborated with teachers, technology teacher, and Media Specialists to gain an understanding of
the curriculum and generate lesson ideas. Used Common Core Standards, the C3 Curriculum, Technology
standards to create lessons with teacher options to increase Universal Design for Learning options.
Language Arts: Worked with teachers and curriculum heads to create a Mystery Unit. Made curriculum
progression decisions within the unit. Updated technology resources available on Canvas.
Goal Setting Units: Created units for students and teachers to evaluate their strengths and create SMART goals
and STRONG plans.
Math: Worked with a team to develop rigorous questions for specific math standards. Updated HCPSS Math Wiki
by collecting resources.

Coordinated service learning projects involving outreach to whole school, empowering students to use petitions,
letter writing, and public speaking.
Facilitated 3rd grade morning meeting sessions for students.

Attended Girls on the Run (GOTR) head coach training meetings including CPR/First aid training.
Led 15-20 girls and organized a team system amongst 2-3 co-coaches in order to successfully execute curricular
goals of GOTR twice a week for 1.5 hours.

Communicated regularly with families, GORT of Central Maryland organization, and staff throughout the season to
increase involvement in events (ex: Dazzle Dash Run, end of season Five K, volunteer opportunities).
