Dear Sir or Madam:

I have known LauraGrace for approximately four years. I have worked with her in school settings in
both the classroom and the theater. It has been a pleasure. Throughout our encounters: classroom
instruction, educational field trips, plays, and as a four-year member of DuBois Area Senior High
School Drama Club/International Thespian Society Troupe 6949 as an Honor Thespian, she has
always exhibited the qualities essential to a future leader.
In the classroom, LauraGrace has been a member of my Theater Arts I and AP Language and
Composition courses. Her work is always above and beyond what I require. She is able to analyze
ideas and connect them to the whole, all the while bringing new insight and support to those discussion
points. While doing this, however, she is affable and cooperative with other students.
As director of our high school productions, I trust LauraGrace to not only learn lines, attend rehearsals,
and fulfill all other obligations, but also willingly accept roles which stretch her talents. She is eager to
accept such risks, to help others with their responsibilities, and to contribute to set construction and
character development. She continually works to bring out the best in her performance and to support
that quality in her fellow actors.
LauraGrace has also gained valuable leadership experience as a member of our high schools
marching band. Outside of school, she is involved as a Jamaica Team leader, Western PA Youth
Ministry Team president, and the Western PA Conference Construction chair. She leads by strong,
organized yet benevolent example.
I highly recommend LauraGrace Orner to join your incoming freshman class of 2016. If you would like
