o Students should be able demonstrate 3 out of 5 coaching points for the skill with at least 80%
accuracy.
o Students should be able to work in groups and develop an affiliation for the sport

Methods Collaborating:

o Students will be instructed to form groups 4 or 5


o Each group will be given a method or part to choose one of skill to discuss.
o Students will discuss among each other and outline important two points for above
skill and give a brief presentation.

o Students will listen to each group presentation and make own notes as well as they
will be given handouts
o Students will be given chances to voice their opinion on what was presented. They
will ask question where groups will be allowed to answer as well as the teacher will
guide them to the correct path
o Students along with the teacher will analyze each group presentation. This will be
done by the teacher giving feedbacks on each groups presentation and correction

Debriefing
o Feedback will be given to each group on their presentations
o Teacher and student will give ideas on strengths and weaknesses as well as what could
be done.

Media (EX: flip chart, PowerPoint Slide, computer-based tools, etc.)


Medias will be used includes: projector, laptop and a projector screen

Materials (ex: textbook web page, Educational Game, WebQuest, etc.)

The materials used are: video, images, slide show and powerpoint slide quiz
Utilize Media, Materials, and Methods

1. Preview the materials:


o Check to make sure videos on the grip, stance and back lift are readily available for
presenting and teaching.

o Ensure images of each point are visible.

2. Prepare the materials:

o Set up projector screen and projector


o Ensure surrounding light is not bright which will aid in the projector screen having defects.
o Ensure all materials are in the correct order.

Class will be held in a classroom


Seats will be arranged in order as to not narrow the views of other students.
Turn of most light, if possible, ALL.
Adjust AC as to keep students cool and relaxed and in a sense not to too cold for the
equipment.

4. Prepare the learners:


o Get students involved so they can give meaning of various terms that will be used.
5. Provide the learning experiences:
o The PowerPoint quiz and the interactive learning is for everyone to participate as well as
the class discussion.
Require Learner Participation
In the previous lesson students would have been asked to do a presentation on a specific skill and
phase of the grip, stance or back lift.
Introductory Activity:

At the beginning of this class students would have been expected to present on the skill that was
assigned to them from the previous class.
Activity 1:
While students are presenting the group should provide questions for students to answer and make
notes on each skill or phase being presented on. In this throughout the class students would be
responsible for their learning with the aim of gaining knowledge from each groups presentation.
Activity 2:
In their groups, students should make notes of at least three coaching points for each skill and a
representative from each group will present on the coaching points

Activity 3:

Culminating activity:
At the end of the lesson, all methods would have been used and students would have been
interactively engaged right throughout the lesson.
Evaluate & Revise
Evaluation methods for each of the following are included:
o At the end of the lesson, the teacher will test student performances by quizzing them on
the lesson that was taught. They will be given a worksheet or questions that should be
done in their notebooks. They will be marked based on a structured rubric. They will also
be evaluated on how well they work in groups as well as their class participation. They
will also be evaluated on how well they use technology in their presentation and how
well they impart knowledge.
