InTASC Standard
Standard #3: Learning Environments
The teacher works with others to create environments that support
individual and
collaborative learning, and that encourage positive
social interaction, active
engagement in learning, and self-motivation.
Brief Description:
For this assignment I created my ideal classroom for ALL learners as I reflected on this
past semester and the what I have learned. I first decided on important Classroom
Characteristic environments. Then, I choose specifically 3 general exceptionalities to
discuss accommodations and why exceptional students are receiving them. I also
added several useful websites for further exploring within the PowerPoint.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standard 3, Learning Environments, I
have selected to include My Ideal Classroom for ALL Learners, My Final Project. I
have created this Point to show my ability to create environments that supports all
learners including exceptional learners. The classroom management and ideas
encourage positive social interaction and active engagement in learning, and selfmotivation.
