A - Professionalism and Understanding

Good relationship with MST and students. Fatema is really helpful and strong. She has a good
attitude and she plans well for her classes.

It is good to put the song, but it should be in a lower voice so the students can focus. I couldnt focus

C - Implementing and Managing Learning

You started the lesson with giving each student a mask but some student has a question so they have
to answer the question on the board. You presented the ones and tens by letting them counting for
ones and tens. Then you gave an example which is adding the number and then to classify tens and
ones. After that you brought ducks inside the puddle and you asked the students to count them and
some of them outside the puddle. Then you showed them a big lollipop to let them guess how many
lollipops inside it. you used different examples to build the students knowledge. Good job! After that
you did an activity in groups. It was a good activity but the song was very loud I couldnt focus at all.
Good to present all the groups work in front of the whole class. After that you gave the students an
individual worksheet to do by themselves. After that you gave them a worksheet to classify the ones
under ones and the tens under tens. See how it worked when you put black points? Good job!

Students reflection on the feedback:

In fact, I teach grade one math lesson which about ones and tens place value. To tell you the
truth, Ms. Fatima and my MST like my lesson and my strategy to teach the students, to control
on noise students and manage the time.

First of all, my lesson was going well. I think that because I try to use effective strategy to teach
the students. For example, first, of my lesson I try to do a review, which about addition fill a

blank. I will give each students animals mask, then I let each one to see at the back of their
mask if they have a question or not. Then who have a question in their mask they will write the
question on the board and solve it. The students were interactive with my review I think that
because I use the mask to let the students attract with my review (see Appendix 1)

Second, I try to begin to teach the students step by step. First, present a power point about the
new lesson. Then I will use more materials to help the students understand more. Then, I will
give the students time for group work. In fact, I give each group different materials. I try to give
the students the instruction before I give them the materials and use the timer to help them to
finish at the time (see Appendix 2). In fact, I try to develop my weakness which Ms. Fatima tells
me in first observation. Then I let them open the students' book and let them solve page 151
after that I present the page on data show and choose the students to solve the page in front of
students. This way can help the students to know their wrong mistake and try to correct it.

In the last stage, my class still has five minutes, so I give the student worksheet to solve in the
class to help me to evaluate their understanding during my lesson, and I note the majority of the
students understand well because they finish before the time, and their answer was correct.

However Ms. Fatima tells me its good to use the song, but I should be in a lower voice so the
students can focus more so I try to develop this point in next time even I can develop more.

There is undeniable that, my lesson was amazing. Also, my voice was loud and clear also, my

MST tells my voice was too clear and change my tone during my lesson. Furthermore, I have
good control of the students because I use effective strategies to remove the misbehavior (see
Appendix 3).
