Reflection
This is the third lesson I taught. The student's are familiar with workers, the students
have a background and knowledge about community workers and names the day of
the week. I evaluate the student's understanding by giving them a formative
assessment during the lesson. While, that helps me as a teacher to assess and monitor
the student's learning progress. Related to teaching philosopy that I believe the
formative assessment a critical assessment to assess the student's learning and
understanding during the lesson. that I believe this type of evaluation can help the
teacher to identify student's strengths and weakness. Also, helps the teacher to
measure the effectiveness of curriculum, teaching methods and programs. And this
part is linked to professional development plan ( PDP goal). Through theses stage, I
applied different activities with managing the time for each activity. This part
essential to teaching competency such as implementing and managing learningby
Manages transitions between activities smoothly. "Time management contributes to
planning and organizes a schedule of your activities, goals, and responsibilities, in the
right way" (Raspopov, 2015). And, I had a good managing pair work, group work,
individual and whole class tasks competently. In addtition, I applied a clear
instruction that the student's were understanding the task clearly. All of these are the
strengths of the lesson. While I had some suggestions or weakness for this lesson such
as pronunciation and fluency that I want to improve it in next time.
