On page 600 question 87 part A asks us to find the inverse of the given matrix K.

To find the inverse of the matrix K we have to put into the matrix

which should then

look like this with the Identity Matrix on the right side.

Now you must use row operations to get the identity matrix onto the other side. I started with
Row One divided by 2. Then I subtracted Row One from Row Two and Row Three.

In part B of the question it then asks me decode the give matrix E. The message will be on the

In part C it asks us to find out what the matrix M is saying. Each number represent the letter of
the alphabet from A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on.
The message on the matrix M is the phrase, math is fun.
