1. Introduction (5-10 minutes)
Split up into groups of 4
o Students can choose
If it takes too long I will choose for them
Hand out big white pieces of paper
Today youre building your own fort
o It must have a legend
To show what symbols mean what
o It has to be in the 1800s time period
So cannons not tanks
Wood or stone walls
o Show how to support your troops
