rateofcrimesareincreasingdaybydayinallsocietiesintheworld,
butIpersonallydobelievethattherearealotwhichcanbedoneby
boththegovernmentsandtheindividualstoreducethecrimesin
communities.
Alotofimportantmeasures,ontheonehand,canbetakenbythe
governmentsinordertoreduceoreveneradicatedifferenttypesof
crimes.First,governmentscanintroducemorepoliceforces
everywheretomonitorpeoplesactivitiesandstopthemfrom
committingcrimes.Second,thestatecanapplynewtechnologies
suchassurveillancecamerasinthestreets,shoppingcenters,
restaurantsandallpublicplacestoceasecriminals.Third,strict
punishmentsoncriminalscanhavereallypreventiveanddeterrent
effectsonallagegroupsinsociety,sobyusingharshpenaltieslike
emprisonment,physicalorfinancialpunishmentstherateofcrimes
canbedecreased.
Ontheotherhand,individualsinsocietiescanbeofgreathelptocut
downonthenumberofcrimesbeingcommitted.Tomymind,the
overwhelmingmajorityofpeopletendtoparticipateinactivities
assistingthegovernmenttokeepthesocietyasafeplacefortheir
ownfamiliesandtheothersandforallagegroups.Takeasan
example,mostpeoplebyreportingtheproblemstopolicecanplay
anindispensableroleincrimepreventionactivities.Inaddition,when
peoplethemselvescareaboutdecreasingheinouscrimesincities,it
canbesortofapreventiveactiontoharnesswellthesituationin
societybygovernmentaswell.
Toconclude,inorderforasocietytobeasafeplacetolivein,all
societymembersincludingthegovernmentsandpeoplemusttake
necessarymeasurementstokeepitacrimefreeplace.

Althoughparentsandteachersplayacrucialrole,
itmustnottobeforgottenthatthegovernment
shouldalsoplaytheirpart.Thisessaywill
examinebothviews.
Tobegin,sinceparentsaretheinitialrolemodel
forachild,theyholdthevitalaspectininculcating
valueswhichwillguidethechildthroughlife.For
example,ifachildisproperlynurturedduringthe
startofdevelopment,thiswouldleadtoabetter
growth,thusmakingapersonproductiveandmay
notcontemplateanylasciviousactsinthefuture.
Inaddition,schoolsaresaidtobethesecond
institutionfornotjusteducationbutalsosocial
growth.Thecurriculum,inpart,shouldmotivate

Thereisnodoubtthatcrimerateshavedramaticallyincreasedover
thelastfewyears.Somecriminalsmanagedthemselveswellwhile
theystayedinprison.Oneofthereasonsisthattheyhaveseenthe
problemsandsacrificestheyhavetomake.Somepeoplearguethat
thesearethebestpeopletocreateawarenessaboutcrimesin
teenagers.However,othersstatethatapersonwithacriminal
backgroundwillnotaleavegoodimpressiononpeople'sminds.
