Iswelfarereallybeingexecutedtoit'sgreatestpotential?Thinkforasecondofallthe
derogativeeffectsthatwelfarebrings.Peoplewiththecapabilitytoworkarebeingfundedbythe
governmentforsittingonthecouch.Lookatalloftherecipientswhoaregettingacheckanddo
spendingthatfundonalcohol,drugs,gambling.Theyarefeedingtheiraddictionwiththe
people'smoney.Agoodportionofthatmoneyisbeingcontributedtodrugs,alcoholandsoon.
Thisisarealissue,ifIweretohaveafamilymemberwhohadahistorywithdrugsand
substanceabuseIwasbeverywearyofseeingthemonwelfare.Welfareinfluencesaddictions
andissomuchofanegativeimpactonourcountry.
Welfareisintendedforincapablepeopleofbuildinganincome,handicappedandpeople
withdisabilities.Althoughtheintentionsweregood,likeallgoodthingstheyareabused.
Povertyalwayscomeswithcriminalizationwhichcoincidesperfectlywithwelfare.Accordingto
(
NIAAA
),theaveragerecipientisasubstanceabuser,overwhelmingtheaveragenonabuser.
Whichinimplicationorientatesthattheyareofpotentialtospendtheirgovernmentfundson
substances.WhichinfluencesasignificantpercentageoftheeconomyintheUnitedStates.
Welfaredoesntpromoteworkordevelopment,thesystembasicallytakescareofeverything
whenitshouldfacilitatethegrowthintherecipientwhichwouldresultamoreefficientstructure
inhandlingthecashforthegovernmentfunds.Thepeoplespeak,yetthegovernmentremain

ignorant.Wethepeopleshouldbetheelitesoftheroundtableandbeabletohaveasayso.
Welfareisanepidemicthatneedstobeaddressed.Itisfoundedoffofpositiveintentionsandan
idealisticstructurebutneedsrenovations.
Asthe(SAPRP)state,recipientsaremorelikelythannonrecipientstousedrugs
provingthattheissueiswellknownamongthepublic.TheylaterclaimthatTheproportionof
substanceabusetreatmentparticipantswhomadethetransitionfromwelfaretoworkincreased
over300%duringthestudyperiodfrom1994to1999whichshowsthatrehabilitatingthese
recipientsprovestobeofpositivesignificance.Fundingtheseaddictsdoesnothingbut
encouragetheirbehavioranddonatetotheircause.Testingtheserecipientsundersuspicioninan
intellectmannerwillprovideapositiveoutcome.Toshowhoweffectivethissolution,therewas
astudyinFloridathatAlmostonethirdofsubstanceabusetreatmentparticipantshadmoved
fromwelfaretowork,whichalsosupportsthesolutiontorehabilitatingtherecipientsfora
greateroutcome.
Welfarealsotakesoutimportantfundsandwhentheyabusedtheyareputtowaste.
Thosefundshavesomuchpotentialandcanbeutilizedsowell.Thefundscanbedirected
towardsourdebt,militaryfundingwhichwouldgivetheUnitedStatesamorepowerfuland
dominantvoice.Givinguspowerisalwaysgoodforourcountry,itprovidesawellfounded
defencealongwithbeingabletorespondtopoliticalissuesandassistotheralliancebounded
countriesinsignificantmattersandtroubles.Welfarealsobarricadestherecipientmakingamore
difficulttransitiontowardsbeingabletoholddownajob.Thishandicapstheirdevelopment

Inconclusionthisproblempersists,andisveryreal.Welfareinfluencederogativeresults
andencouragesdruguseinimplicationwhilebarricadingrecipientsandstuntingtheirabilityto
develop.Studiesshowthatthesystemhasmanyfaultsandcanbeimprovedandrenovatedto
constructagreaterandmoreefficientofsystem.SoafteryouaskyourselfifWelfareinits
currentstateisbeingexecutedtoitsgreaterpotential,lookattheresearch,thestatistics,the
outcome,thestoriesandthenanswerthequestionIsWelfareaproblem?foryourself.
